Hey Gang,

I managed to pick up some black foam board last night, at WalMart of all places. More than likely later this afternoon, I'll be starting on a Necron Obelisk and a few other Terrain/Building pieces (don't worry, I'll remember to take photos this time!)

The Nexcron Obelisk project was designed by GW, and can be seen here. Since it's also already pretty well documented, I won't focus on it too much.

So what you're more likely to see me provide are directions for making a Necron Pyramid (I'll be basing it off the ones seen on the Necron Vessels in BFG), and possibly some of the Necron Buildings for DoW Dark Crusade.

I am now officially a homeowner! After nearly two weeks of meetings and phone calls with financial advisors, lawyers, insurance agents, utilities, and my mom, everything is finally in place.

I apologize for not posting recently - the last week or so has pretty much been a whirlwind of activity. I've had meetings with my lawyer, my incredibly helpful financial advisor at Meridian Credit Union, celebratory dinners with family members, and of course the Warhammer Club.

This has all added up to one incredibly tired yet quite content Duck. I take possession of the house tomorrow (May 2nd), and only have a few small loose ends to tie up - getting the water and gas service in my name, setting up the new insurance policy, etc. That'll all be wrapped up fairly soon though.

Anyway, that's the short version. Hopefully next week will be a little more sane, so I can get back to Painting Necrons and Posting Code!
