20 Days…Clearly, my plans to post a new blog entry every 2-4 days have been met with mixed success. And that's really stretching the definition of success 
Things have been a little hectic the last few weeks, and blogging has been the furthest thing from my mind. Note that the rest of this post is going to be fairly random.
I'm working on a pretty exciting new project at my day job, which has also presented some new and unusual challenges. I won't get into too many details, but I'll let leak that it will incorporate a feature-rich web-based content editor that I'm essentially building from the ground up. Needless to say, there have been many javascript and browser-related problems to tackle. Where appropriate, I'll detail some of the challenges and solutions here.
I've sort of put my Warhammer 40K stuff on the backburner for now. I have a small Tau army I'm commissioned to paint, and I hope to get that done this coming Saturday. Unfortunately, I have to strip a good deal of paint off of a few models first - which also presents me with an opportunity to try a new stripping method.
I picked up a Wii Fit last night, and I'm addicted. More on this later 
My room finally looks like a bedroom. After a reasonably affordable trip to Ikea, I now have an actual bed, rather than a mattress on the floor. Since my room is fairly tiny there wasn't really space for a bedside table, so I put a few shelves at my bedside instead, and frankly they look great. I'll post pictures if I'm feeling ambitious later.
I've finally got the fire pit in place in the back yard, and we broke it in this weekend with the mandatory hot dog and marshmallow roast.
Perhaps the most important (and definitely the most interesting) point over the last few weeks would be Nicole. I'll introduce her sometime later, but for now all you need to know is that she's made me incredibly happy - even though she has a tendency to kick my ass at almost every video game we've played
I'm done rambling now. Time to get some coding done!
